Hello, and welcome to this week’s short episode of Let’s Talk Loyalty. I’m your host, Paula Thomas, and today I’m looking back to July of 2021. When I spoke with Jon Dwoskin. A business coach, mentor, and fellow podcaster.
Now, given Jon’s work, completely outside the loyalty industry this episode was quite a bit different of course, from most of our other ones. I invited him on the show, as I wanted to understand from him how he connects with his clients and creates loyalty with them. Jon shared the power of effective communication, which for him includes writing, videos, keynote speaking, and like me, podcasting. This was my favorite, of course, as Jon explained the power of the spoken word and how podcasting in particular can be a superb way to get your message across with busy consumers. Like me, Jon believes that podcasting is actually a powerful way to build loyalty between a brand and its customers and it’s truly an idea that I believe in. As loyalty industry professionals, the essence of what we’re trying to do is build rapport and emotional loyalty. So audio content could be a great other way to connect with members and expand their relationship with your brand. John’s own passion is about motivating people to get started with new ideas. So regardless of whether it’s podcasting or any new idea that could help grow your brand and your business. He talked about the importance of stepping out of our comfort zone and taking on new challenges.
Now, as you can tell, there are definitely some interesting and provocative ideas in this episode, both for loyalty professionals and also anyone listening who wants to learn how to communicate better. So if you haven’t had a listen, you can find it easily on letstalkloyalty.com/125.
That’s it for today’s short summary. Tomorrow, I’m thrilled that our first episode hosted by Amanda Cromhout is going live, featuring industry expert, Pieter Twine, and his incredible work with the award-winning South African program called MySchool, MyVillage, MyPlanet. Then on Thursday, we’re back down in Australia to hear the latest updates from Adore Beauty and Miranda Bliss.
Please do join us tomorrow and Thursday, and as always have a lovely week in loyalty.
